12V power cable for Garmin DriveSmart 51?

RANBUSH

I recently bought a Garmin DriveSmart 51 from GPS City. I also have a LM60 and a Nuvi 50 on other bikes. These units are supposed to be for cars, but I have found them to be very reliable on motorcycles too. I want to wire the DriveSmart 51 into 12V via a Centech module on the bike.

The LM60 and Nuvi 50 came with a cable with a cigarette lighter adapter AND a bare-wire power cable. The DriveSmart 51 came with only the cable with the cigarette lighter adapter cable. I asked GPS City if there was another cable option and they said call Garmin Support. Garmin Support said there is no plain power cable available for the DriveSmart 51.

Does anybody know a part number for a Garmin bare-wire power cable?

Check out this cable -- Model: 010-12953-03 -- from GPS-City. It's a power cable for the Zumo XT, but if the USB connector is the same, it may (should?) work.
