lost the plastic center cap the left side of rear wheel 1991 K75 RT

I took both my 1991 K 75 RT wheels to a shop and had new tires mounted. I was installing the rear one and noticed the center hole was missing the covering.
What I have now is an open 1 inch (or near 1 inch) hole that is in the center of the rear wheel .

I'd like to buy one, but I doubt if that's going to happen .
I'm thinking of making my own plug insert to cover the openning.
how important is this center hole to be covered ? 2021_1026_031722_001.JPG

RealOEM indicates the part 36311242142 costs less than $10. Same for MaxBMW. Finally, something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg! :thumb

Thanks for the part number . I'm calling a BMW shop as soon as I post this thank you note . Meanwhile when I put my finger into the openning shown in the photo ,I feel splines , yet nothing goes in there . I wonder if it's incase the wheel is used on a different model,or maybe on a model with drum beakes .
