Flat Rear Tire

Looks like it's been that way for a while...here's a picture from earlier:

Do you have another ST, with a P-D type of tank? I noticed on some earlier pictures that the angle of the arm-rod was also less than ideal.

Funny, I checked the old pics and confirmed that's how it was previouslyset up as well.

Max BMW left it as is after going through the bike, and it feels ok to me, so I think I will leave it.

Yes, this bike used to have a P-D tank (from an '88 GS) before switching back to the original tank...

Just to note, as jhall said, if you had that angle slightly less than 90 degrees, once pulled and the angle opens up to near 90, you get the best mechanical advantage on the brake. Just a matter of geometry! :)

But note that is 90 degrees to the rod, not 90 degrees to the ground.
