My daughter got a new ride! *Cue George Thoroughgood version of "Bad to the Bone"*

We had one of these before, from Katy's Kloset. I had to build a back rest with straps, find straps for the pedals and fix the linkage from the back of each pedal. I guess the Christopher Reeve Foundation gave some money to KK, and since we have been on a waiting list, they graciously decided to get a bike.

Also, she had a seizure last week Tuesday, so my New Year is off to a rocky start.
It was a small one, and lasted about 2 minutes. I do not like them, they scare me on a deep level.
and People wonder why my hair is gray.
(Ok that started long before this :ha)

Katy's Kloset still owns it, and the helmet (unless we just buy her own) so I can't damage the equipment. However, a tie wrapped pennant will hold BMWMOA and ADV stickers.
:nod

Maybe I can put some tire flys on it.
:ha

It looks great. I like the clip-ons, gives it a Cafe' look. Go for pinstripe, make it look fast.

Don't let your brother near it. He may remove the brakes and put studs in all the tires.:laugh
Seriously, I thinks it's wonderful.

Cool Bike Roy:thumb

I like the carry basket in the back for all the necessaries for longer trips..

Now old dad has to build a superhighway into the distant back yard and beach (pool)!

You can't expect the girl to pedal that aroung just the living room you know!

It would be great just to see her riding on her own, I'll make with the pictures this weekend. It requires some ergo adjustments, and she'll be pedaling in no time.

very nice Roy:thumb jealous of those adjustable handlebars, i sometimes wish my motorcycle had something like that.

Me likee that shiny thing

Great bike Roy, so what is the passenger going to do on her journeys ? Take pictures, text, listen to iphones, and itunes ? :stick

The first farkel ought to be a PC stand for the passenger then you can post coming and going. :laugh

Any improvement in well being is a step towards progress.

:bow

Thanks guys. It's hard to see, but the handlebar is a big loop, so it also pivots forward and backward, it's very adjustable. It has a brake handle (which I believe will be too much for her now, but we can hope)and it's covered with that rubber/foam for easy gripping.

I think a playing card in the spokes might be fun, and it's so "Old School."
:ha

The Mark McGwire card might be too big for the spokes. :laugh
