What a great album. My dad turned me onto Sancious. Great player.

Have you ever heard the bootleg "David Sancious live at My Father's Place", from 1976? Mindblowing.

PM for details.... (and, er, mp3s).

Eclectic

I like all kinds of music. Over here in Iraq I am very spoiled. We have a shared drive here that has around 400gig of just music. I usually try to snag a few gig a week and download to my external drive. Currently I am up to 93,000 individual songs. I am kind of on a Ben Folds/Killers/The Cure/Gorillaz/They Might Be Giants/real old bluegrass kick right now. I still hate I-tunes, I-pods suck. I prefer a plain old mp3 player so I can share, drag and drop and play. Much easier to use than I-tunes.

Kelly

Whenever I see a kid in a wheelchair it makes me a little sad. Because I always think, "Gee, they could have used those same wheels to make a bike for a regular kid." What a waste.

Love this album.

Here's a heads up for all you archivists. Today the hunt is for "Stranglers IV". Out of print but . . . .

I have heard they are out on tour again, sans Prairie Prince. That would be a show I'd like to see.

I cheated death today

Went for a hop on the "F"(800ST) about 3PM. Out to Pratt Wayne Woods for those of you who might know.
15 minutes of solitude, I had the whole pond to myself with a mellow Jeff Beck tune in my buds.
Ok, back on the road and working my way home. Two lanes either direction, some pazoad decides to cut me off in the left lane. Fine. Gas gas, jump over to the right lane and a quick look back to see I'm ok to get back left, yes, clear. Into the left lane and look ahead and here's a Camry turning in front of me. If I hadn't been jumping to the left lane I would have boned her.
Bet she was on the cell phone too but I was too busy messing my pants to notice.

Anyroad, got home and decided I needed to hear some "old" stuff.
