Departing Victoria, BC on Monday, October, 14th 2024 I'll be following my tried and true PCH route to Mexico. After a stop at ADV Baja in Tijuana, I'm off to TouraTexas, camping all the way.

If you are interested in coming along or checking out my route, you can find a Google Doc, GPX files, and an interactive map on the ADV Cannonball Website. My Tracking map is here.

I've often spoken to riders who have traveled the Pacific Coast Highway route, and I wish I had shared my GPX files and notes with them. This route is quite detailed and should be experienced at least once the "proper way." It takes you from Blackball Ferry in Victoria, Canada, to Baja ADV Garage in Tijuana, Mexico, via some of the best motorcycle roads and camping spots in America.

There are optional ADV dirt road sections.

The trip sounds interesting.
For those interested-Clicking on the TicToc video takes you down the TicToc rabbit hole.
I’ll probably have to “prune up” some of the generic “tags”.
This sorta looks like a business operation?
Have a safe trip.

As I’m sure you are aware, Hwy 1 is completely closed just south of the Monterey County line for several miles. There are limited ways of bypassing the closure.

Yes sir, the route goes around that area, for the time being. Too damn bad, great stretch of road.
