I would like to see some small storage options without the need for external bags and cases to hold some basic tools and repair items. My airheads had a nice underseat box whereas my R1200R barely has room for the registration.

Definitely! Or even a large “frunk” (forward trunk) that can fit a helmet, like the Honda NC700/750X.
