What is this part?

I’m not 100% sure this is a BMW part but the paint and general forming of it look BMW to me. It surfaced during some work on a modified K11.

One hole is M8 and one is M6. Plastic caliper is set to one inch.

Looks very similar to some aftermarket auxiliary light mounts I’ve used.

Yep, looks like an offset bracket for aux lights

As indicated, though, it's only a little more than an inch long. Not really enough to mount a light on. It the sort of thing that could be an ABS1 modulator bracket (but it's not) or some kind of subframe or luggage rack brace.
