Sargent Seat on GSA

New member
I recently purchased a Sargent seat for my GSA 1200.
I noticed the front seat doesn’t snap down well on the back of the seat leaving quite a bit of extra play in it.
Anyone else experience this
I like the seat however I was expecting it to have a tighter fit.
I don’t think it will move around once I’m riding, if it does I will send it back as that could end up being a safety issue

The Sargent seat for my GS came with two rubber bumpers that are or are not installed on the bottom of the seat, depending upon if the seat is set hi, lo, or mixed. Have you checked and verified height settings and usage of the bumpers?

Best,
DeVern

wiggle time

I have a sargent on my 1250 and find the seat finicky to get in place.
It seems crucial to get the front locater pushed in "just right" to make the back snap in snug.
Not helpful but good luck
