Question re: Latest ON issue and engine oil article

In the most recent (March 2013) ON Kurt Schrader did a great piece on "Choosing an Engine Oil for Your Bike". On page 72 he talks about Total Base Number Results (TBN) and references one synthetic (MOA16) and one petro (MOA10) "stand out" in their ability to absorb corrosive acids produced during combustion. Excuse my ignorance but how do I identify these two oils by their MOA16 and MOA10 reference?

Count across the graph. The 10th entry is MOA10 and the 16th entry is MOA16. At least that makes the graph match the comments.

The part I found most interesting is that current bikes are spec'd for 10W-40 yet not a single 10W-40 was tested.

That was my goof, as I explained in the other thread. Initially I used a code for each oil, then in the end decided to use the actual name. I didn't have a chance to final proof it before going to press.

The part I found most interesting is that current bikes are spec'd for 10W-40 yet not a single 10W-40 was tested.

Admittedly, the concept of this testing started in an Airheads thread, so the choices for oils were slanted somewhat that direction. There was a 15w40 weight tested.
