PSA - Oil Sale at Autozone - Stock Up!

ted

Dum vivimus vivamus
Stopped at Autozone after some meetings this morning to pick up some oil and a filter for the K75RT. While no comments on which is better, I was delighted to find they have a sale going, $33 for 5 quarts of Mobil-1 15-50 and an M1-102 Mobil-1 oil filter - that is just about half price.

For our Dino brethren I then noticed they had all motorcycle oil on sale for $2 off a quart bringing the price of Castrol 4T 20-50 to only $1.99 a quart. Add a $6.99 Bosch 3330 filter and that brings the price of an oil change to under $20 (you have to supply the cover O-ring and crush washers) - quite reasonable!

No connection to AZ, just fulfilling the "cheapest thing about a BMW" mandate ;) Now if I could just find a video tutorial on adjusting the clutch, having no closed gap at the lever is worrying me :)
