Yesterday and today had forecasts for severe thunderstorms and Tornado Warnings.
Yesterday we only had about a hour of lite rain and we managed to stay west of all the red cells that showed on my GPS radar.
Today the red cells on the radar were west of us and we stayed dry.
We had planned to be in Arkansas tomorrow but may sit out a day.
We'll decide in the morning.

Noisy night with all the heavy rain, high winds and thunder. Debbie slept through most of it. One time when the rain was hammering the window she woke up and said HAIL and went back to sleep. At least the bikes got a good high pressure soft water rinse.
If we leave late I think we'll still catch up with the storms. It's still raining.
When I told the front desk lady we're staying another night, she smiled and said she programmed our keys for 2 night when she checked us in yesterday.
She said there were several tornadoes last night. Closest was Sulphur,Ok about 50 miles west of us.

A few days ago we crossed from Oklahoma to Arkansas on the Talimena Scenic Byway.
Two miles from the Queen Whilhelmina Lodge a thick cloud moved in and covered the ridge road.
We were creeping in 2nd gear hoping to see the Lodge turn to get off the road and let it pass.
Hard to spot the turn but found it and when we were about 100 feet from the Lodge we could not see it through the cloud.
Five minutes latter the cloud had moved soud And it was nice and clear again.

Today We stopped at the Ponca, Ark low water Bridge to check the water level.
Two days ago the Buffalo River was 3 feet over the old concrete bridge.
Canoes and kayaks put in here.
