almost all of it is very old 2 track/ ice grade
little john said:well we are back home from another successful 3 day (trail work) weekend of riding all day and eating all night.
Mike,Jim, you guys said you wanted single track the big bikes could ride, something that is very like 2 track but narrower with no mud, big logs, or rock gardens. well you got it coming!!! all big bikes must have KNOBBIES! we found 8 to 10 miles of just that and the ADV tour guys will will get to do it before anyone other than the set up riders! lj

just as an FYI,
the bridge is in the middle of a 10 mile adv hero section. . .
and the adv tour gets to ride it in the virgin state before the thumpers go thru
This was my 4th year at the Ride4Research
and my good weather luck ran out.
Here is what it looked like when I arrived on Friday
Saturday brought about 10 riders and 1 passenger for the Adventure route
(I think it was another 120ish for the thumper route)
....I wish I had taken some pics of those two on an F650GS-Dakar. Those two were perfectly in tune together.
Kudos to Jon who showed up on a brand new 2010 R1200GS-Adventure
and rode it like its supposed to be riden (yellow GS in KLASJM's post)
The best part of the ride...the fundraiser. Congrats to everyone for raising $13,000 for UWCCC
It only hurts when I sing........or breathe. I hafta dig out my rib belt again.
I'm taking a recuperation day today.
Lot's of wet log crossings to practice on.
It was slippery, snotty, wet and muddy.
Weird, but this was probably the funnest ride I've been to.
