Loft Window.jpgOut the loft window..........
Sitting here with a word of "thanks" for this life............Most of you in the North experience this most every day from November through March. For us here in N.W. Georgia, it is a rare day.

To have the warmth of the wood stove glowing down below to heat the day,
grand babies spending the night to stand at the door with wide eyes and smiles.
Of course Grandpa will take them up the hill to play the cold away.
Just glad I have this life so grand, to have it here not move a mile............
God bless........Dennis

Just don't go and try to drive in Atlanta. :)

Yes, for sure. It's hard enough to clear off my 1/2 mile of a driveway/road.......lol.....gives me some seat time on the tractor doing some REAL work.......Then of course to make the time to clear off the 4 close by neighbors that are blind, disabled with bad hips, old and pretty feeble, just a good ol boy.............The drug addict/dealer down the way a bit can figure it out for himself...........God bless........Dennis

Around here the loft would be the first floor.

We need about 4" more snow for a new, all-time record in Beantown. 107 inches!

The warmth and sentiment of your message is appreciated - thank you for your reflection - sometimes we don't do that enough in this life.

Thanks Mr. Bog and Gary......was beginning to wonder if the word "serenity" means to others what, it does to me.............God bless......Dennis

I thank God for my life every day. Just to be alive another day ...
But sometimes I need a little encouragement and that's what I see here.
Or something to mention that to, so I don't forget it.
This is a trying moment for me, so I will gladly accept any prayers. But thanks for reminding me that I have a lot to be thankful for.
A lot of people did not make it to the age I have now attained. So another day to live is something to be thankful for.
