Greetings!
New member here ... purchased a gently used R1150R and enjoying it very much!

Got the bike at Hermy's and recently serviced it at Cross Country Cycles. I am in NJ.

I am not much of a wrench guy so ... I asked both dealers about a connector that the previous user had on the bike. So far no answer.
From what I can see the code is PBT-GF10 .. 3 pin electrical connector.

I was told that this is possibly a connector for a GPS ... but on BMW sites is listed as a temperature connector (on a car).

Wonder if anybody has any info ...

Greatly appreciated!!IMG_1811.jpgIMG_1813.jpg

Welcome to the fold!

If up by the steering neck, likely a GPS connector. If down by the seat, a heated seat connector.

Best,
DeVern

Ah!

It is right under the steering neck, under the light.
Thank you .. we are making progress.

Best, Fred

Would be much easier to identify if you can describe exactly the wiring colors used at the connector. BMW uses very specific wire colors. If it’s an OEM connector, it could be identified on a wiring diagram once the colors are known.
