Missing parts at Harvard morgue

Dissected human body parts, including heads, brains, skin and bones, were allegedly stolen by the manager of a morgue at Harvard Medical School in Boston and taken to New Hampshire prior to being sold and, sometimes, shipped through the U.S. Postal Service, according to a federal indictment

Is this just part of the decline of civility (see Roman Empire) we seem to be experiencing?

I’m not sure what makes a person- or group of people, think this is okay. This also seems to confirm the trend of needing to keep an eye on organizations that tout being “The Best”.

Perhaps the morgue manager had a Harvard MBA? :sick

Well, lots of people desire a conversation piece for their coffee table or curio cabinet, so there’s that. 😵

I’m not too concerned over the actions of an organization or institution, which this wasn’t. But I’m greatly concerned over the actions and potential depravity of individuals, like the ones who perpetrated whatever this is. And that goes especially for individuals billing themselves as “the best” or “the only”…

Best,

I understand the motivations of folks who might wish to sell this stuff. Typical greed. No mystery.

But as for the folks who wish to buy this stuff - good grief, no pun intended. Sheesh! :banghead
