Looking for Pre-Rally Volunteers.
We have a number of committees that could really use some help before the rally actually opens. This could be your opportunity to really be of help and at the same time would allow you more choice of camp sites at the fairgrounds.
Where to help? Well there are quite a few committees that you could approach. You could even help out even more than one committee. The chairs of these committees listed below are waiting by their computer terminals, waiting for your emails offering help.
Never volunteered before? No quite certain what to expect? Don’t be shy. Expect to greatly enhance your Rally Enjoyment Factor. Expect to increase your circle of friends. Expect to have a greater attachment to the MOA organization.
Skills required? Basically just being willing to help and you’ll gain additional ownership of DAS Rally.
Don’t hesitate, just give one or two of the committees listed below and volunteer!
Door Prizes needs help setting up before the rally. Susanna Parkhouse doorprizes2016@gmail.com
Sign Production needs help, some of it totally non-skilled labour, cutting and trimming signs, some with computer knowledge. Dan Steele gsaadv1@gmail.com
Jackie Hughes in the MOA Store will most likely be needing additional help setting up the MOA store. galuprider@yahoo.com
Pin and Patch will need hands to stuff the mugs with rally giveaways. Karen and Gary Pothoff glpothoff47@hotmail.com
RV - Steeve Sternberg could use some early volunteers to help check in the RVs, and guide them to their sites. Some attendees will not have registered for the rally when they get to the rally. He will need someone to take them up to the registration desk to register. lssternberg@juno.com
Gray Buckley at Security needs a few people on the Wednesday in the vendor area during the day. (Of course he needs lots of other volunteers throughout DAS Rally. Rumor has it he has the best dressed volunteers but then I think he gives shirts to his helpers) Contact graybuckley@gmail.com
Volunteers Booth could use help on Wednesday afternoon registering early arrivals. Contact Paul
