Returning rider (Canadian ex-pat) living in Salt Lake City, Utah. Originally from Windsor, Ontario (I tell people Detroit - easier to explain) - dirt bikes growing up, then a few road bikes into the early 90's and then without wheels for over 25 years as life and some health things got in the way. Finally decided to take the plunge back a couple of months ago – been eyeing this for years even took a rider course 2 years ago – figured I was not getting younger. Bought a 1998 F650 Funduro from a friend. Relearning the ins and outs of road riding again but being safe and loving it so far!

Looking forward to the BMW MOA Rally next month at the Utah State Fairpark. Photo from our mountains about 25 miles from downtown SLC on a recent ride. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum! Whenever I traveled to SLC for work, if I had time, I'd turn the rent car towards the east and get up into the mountains. Definitely some nice view up there!
