Besides the two options above which are also discussed at the link below BMW has a new version of the fuel strip available now. To date I have not heard of any failures but it is still too early to tell.

I don't want a fuel strip that is going to screw up month later, why they ever changed from the system I had in my k75, it worked fine and never had a problem
