First bike...2004 R 1150 GS Adventure

Hi gang! Excited to share with you the start of something beautiful...my ownership of a 2004 R 1150GS Adventure.

I rode my friends '96 R 1150 GS a few years ago and new a BMW was the bike I wanted. In the meantime I rented a HD in England to ride from London to Stonehenge to Portsmouth and back to London, and then recently in Myrtle Beach for a getaway with my fiancee.

Now I'm moving to San Diego and bringing this beauty with me:

I'm eager to find the best spots to go motorcycle camping in the southwest/So Cal. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
