Exhaust popping sound on 2019 R1250GSA

So maybe this topic has been beat into the ground, I hope not. Like the title says, my 2019 R1250GSA has an exhaust pop upon acceleration after shifting. Drives me nuts! I'm running the stock muffler. Dealer Tech suggests to me that the muffler has had something done to it because he thinks it's a lot louder than stock, I can't say that isn't true since I bought used with about 10k miles on it. Tech says I need to find a stock muffler and replace it. Any similar situations out there and how did you fix it?

There was discussion on some sort of “flapper” valve a while back. I think the valve was sticking? Perhaps it has something to do with it?
