also got this statement from a members post on ADVRIDER why the motors look the same

In European countries I am pretty sure there is a separate license tier for 500cc- 750cc which means the F650 Twin would fit just fine. It is cheaper to make a 650twin based on the 800 then continue renewing the jigs and assembly tools to make an aging F650 Single. I think we will see a 650 twin as it's no heavier then current F650 and will produce a little more power and use the same serviceable parts as the 800 which is better on the inventory management side.

it's real

The "official" news from BMW on the F800GS is embargoed until this Tuesday, which is the press day in Milan at the show. We'll have all the details of the bike, and some other new models, on Tuesday afternoon Nov. 6 on the BMW MOA Homepage. Stay tuned ...

It looks like the same motor to me, just standing a little taller in a different frame.

Yeah. That's my take on it, too. The F800 has a very forward canted cylinder, almost like the K12, but this is practically vertical.

That guzzi looks yummmmyyyyyy, and I usually find their new bikes to be beyond dorky. The Breva reminds me of a bumper car.

Shouldn't you sell your 1150GS first?

So I inform the wife tonight over dinner at a local German restaurant that a new model is coming out this spring....

Its just a-little bit bigger than the one I have...

Do you really like it? She asked.

Don't know, I've only seen a picture and I'm not even sure its real.

Well, you'd sell your bike, right?

Hummm, I guess...

Well if you find out you really like it, just get it...

Keeping my composure I say....Ok, well see how it turns out.

End of discussion.

Now I come home and see these....In my favorite Moto color....!

So....
Is it better to trade in or sell outright?:bliss :beer
