2015 R1200GSA ABS Problem

Discovered I am having an issue with my ABS module. It appears that moisture corrupted my rear brake lines. I have cleared the rear brakes and replaced the rear master cylinder. I am getting an error code on the GS911. I am planning to remove the ABS module and see if flushing it out would help (clear any potential water/brake fluid slime). At the moment on the stand I can depress the rear brake and have full strong pedal. Under motion with the ABS engaged (but flashing an error code) I have a stiff pedal with almost zero travel and no rear brakes. I have full front brakes, no issues. I contacted my local shop and they said the part is 2K. Ouch.... I am looking at replacing it myself (looking online for used) but he said they might have to encode it to the bike. Does anyone have any information on this?

Thanks,

Brian

No Luck with Module Masters

Thanks, I will look.

It appears ModuleMasters does not work on this particular year ABS. But I did speak with a Technician who answered my question about encoding. The ABS is encoded to the bike, but it is as simple as a system update. So I could replace the module myself and just get them to encode it and do any software updates. So I am going to try to purge the system with the GS911 and see if i can clear the debris/sludge from the ABS.
