1987 K75S- In a Jam on the Road: Need Advice

BMW Atlanta

Bob, Lynda and staff at BMW Atlanta are great folks, very friendly and solid contributors to our Georgia BMW club- particularly the Georgia Mountain Rally and the Christmas Toy Run.
Glad you got back on the road safely.
Cheers,
Ian

Hey Tom,

Glad you got taken care of! Several friends drove from Minnesota to Tellico Plains last year. Again you did good, especially because you got to ride the amazing roads and beauty of this area! Did you stay at the little campground that caters to motorcyclists? We did but I forgot the name. We also enjoyed eating at Nut'n Fancy!

All the best,

Ken

Tellico Report

It was a beautiful ride and a terrific area. There are a great many incredible roads. We stayed at the Lodge at Tellico which advertises itself as "motorcycle friendly" and it certainly was! The room was great and they have a secured garage for parking your bike. Great BBQ right on the premises. We also ate at the Tellicafe which is right at the western entrance to the Cherohala and we ate at a really nice restaurant in Robbinsville. A great trip! Here is a bit of scenery as we experienced it:
