Your best bets are dealers...they should be able to get you one. I noticed that Vech at Benchmark works sells owners manuals for R100s on his website, part 01 40 9 798 260.1:

Did you check underside of the seat? On my '78 R100, there is a "pocket" there that holds the owner's manual.
There is also a small compartment on the underside of the seat towards the front of the seat that actually has a little arm that rotates to latch/unlatch the little door. I think this compartment would also be large enough to hold the small owner's manual.
