If you are not an MOA member, why not take the time to join the club, so you can enjoy posting on the forum, the BMW Owners News magazine, and all of the discounts and benefits the BMW MOA offers?
I think we're talking two different things. I don't want to find any forum...I was after the Slash5 website, with archive info, bits on fairing, links to /5 manuals, etc. I've had this in the Resources and Links for a long time...but it doesn't work now:
I don't necessarily need anything from it but from time to time it is useful to know where stuff is on the web to refer people to good resources.
If the site is gone forever, so be it. If it's in limbo or moved somewhere else, I'd like to keep up with that in my resource listings.
"5 United" is listed as a chartered BMW club #324 and their listing on the MOA website shows the website I've been trying to find. Kelly Ramsey is listed as the POC...maybe I should contact him.
I heard back from Kelly on the status of the website. The person who was maintaining it has kind of moved on from 2-wheels to 4-wheeling. He said he'd try to find someone more interested in keeping up with the site and get it back on line.
