nice looking bike, get rid of the airpump stuff unless your country looks for and tests that stuff.BMW R100R bugs eye view 02 in Austria
I'd tell him it was stolen ... . . .
My R100R taking a break in Croatia
At the risk of all kinds of grief about the baggy fork boots (Hey! They're ATV boots and the price was right! They look fine with someone onboard. . . ) here's my '84 R80ST . . .it took me 3 months and more $ than I want to admit to put her right but rides like a dream now, and not a single complaint from her over about 5,000 miles since I brought her back. This wasnt a full rebuild, just a tired and cosmetically rough old girl when I found her earlier this year. . ..needed alot of TLC but nothing major. I've since replaced the goofy scooter screen (what can I say. . it was hanging in my barn . .) with a smaller bullet screen. I suppose the next time I have the sliders off I'll put proper boots on. . .

tanker4me... where is this?
Near Ventura, Ca?
explaination of above...
I cut down a crash damaged RT fairing into the 'modified Sport' fairing seen above....I actually like it (seems shocking at first...almost sacralege) but the bike is noticeably less top heavy and seem not so 'pregnant'. Still get good wind protection....
(and before you pick up rocks to stone me, I still have the full stock fairing ready as needed)
