Here's my bone stock '09 R1200RT along the Mississippi in northern Missouri on the way to the Iowa Pure Stodge Rally. I made this (my first) rally about four weeks after buying the bike. I've since added a ZTechnic V-Stream windshield and am using the Scala Q2. I have a Zumo 550, Centech fuse panel, Valentine V1, and Migsel mount on the shelf and waiting for install.:dance

All I need is a day in the garage and I'll offically be farkled!:brad

05' r1200rt

Just got her home from the dealer, (I should have taken 'fore and after pics) detailed it, rubbing compound on the (scratched and scuffed) bags, and fluids, brakes, and scurvy inspection complete.
Looking forward to the WEEKEND and some Miles.:brad
VStar is the wife's and she will be on the road with me too!

I guess I'm the only one here?

I posted to see if there any others, but with only 106 of these in the entire continent I guess it is a rare bird.

Pretty HP2 macfly.

I have to post mine again, I just added BST CF wheels and it's like a new bike all over again.

The bike:

AZ-J,
Let's see some striaght on side views of the whole bike with new wheels. They look sweet.

Thanks for the request, roburnmc,

And, after only riding on them 3 or so miles from BMW Scottsdale (it was 113 degrees) I can say how they look is nothing compared to what they feel like on the bike. It feels so much lighter at the handle bars.

I copied this from a site that offers the wheel for sale

BST wheels are 40-60% lighter than stock wheels and will reduce a bike's Moment of Inertia (ie. less energy is required to start or stop the bike) and reduce the gyroscopic effect of the wheels.

I can't wait until it cools off a bit in another month or so.

My 07 GS

This is the BEST bike I've ever owned. Pic taken at my brief stop at the Alabama Beemers Chicken Rally 09

Here's my little friend...

Well, not so little really, but still very happy with her, she is one of only 106 like her brought into the USA. This in on our first proper ride together, it's love!!

That is sweet! Please forward the link for the carbon wheels, I have been considering the same upgrade for my RS.
