WP Suspension

I had the Works Performance shock on the K75C rebuilt today at Lindemann Engineering in Campell, CA. The seal was blown and it was clunking when I went over bumps. Cost $149.

The owner and I got talking about BMW aftermarket shocks and he showed me a Dutch company shock for BMWs that I was unaware of and never heard any BMW guys mention...WP Suspension

He showed me a double resevoir shock and said it was about $649 retail. They looked really nice. They're suposedly popular in Europe with the racing crowd. I told him that he should be advertising them in the ON.

Anybody else hear about these shocks?

They used to go by the name of White Power but I think have changed to WP for PC reasons. Whatever, I've heard good things about their components, and have seen them as OEM on several upper end Euro sport bikes, although specific makes/models escapes me now. My K1 came with a WP rear shock which I had rebuilt. It does an excellent job.

WP is up there with Ohlins for quality and performance. The KTM and MZ OEM fitments really say a great deal about the race worthiness of this equipment.

I had WPs on the Bakker and liked them. This was strictly a sport bike application, so of course, I had no experience in terms of load carrying or tolerance to heavy loads.
I bought and installed mine in Europe. When I came to the states, I thought about installing a set on the GS. I talked with the US importer, but wasn't too impressed with the organization and let it drop. I'd be interested in knowing if customers are getting good service and support here in the states.
