The Vintage BMW Club has digitized all their back issues and posted them to their new website.

You should join the club, even if you don't ride a Vintage Beemer. A lot of great BMW history and information.

Back Issues' Access?

I am likely to join, but it looks like membership only gets me access to the last four quarterly magazines. In order to gain access to to the magazine archives I need a, "subscription" of some sort. Wonder what that entails?

You are correct. There's a "free" membership which gives access to a portion of the forum area. With a paid membership, additional areas open only to paid members becomes accessible which puts you in touch with other members who want to buy/sell/trade/need things so you know you're dealing with someone who has the same interests as you do. For a bit more of a "bump", you can then access all of the digitized magazines. With the basic paid membership you get the latest four magazines for online viewing.
