Could not find it on the autozone web site. Would you please post a link?
Hell of a deal at that price.

Belay my last. Called my local store and they have them in stock at $29.99 with $20 rebate.

Thanks for passing deal along.

THANKS!!!!

I called my local store and they had one. Ran out and grabbed it. I've been in the market, trying to decide what one to get etc. This one had decent reviews, and the price is fantastic.

Ok, now to fill out that rebate form.

Kevin

Make sure you have the store stamp the rebate form! They have to use the "Store Stamp" in the box on the bottom.

Weird, my rebate form doesn't have a box for a store stamp, nor does it say anything about it.

What they gave me at AutoZone is a downlodable rebate form that they had printed and at the bottom it says "AutoZoner: Validate with Store Stamp before customer leaves the store". Next to that is a rectangular box for the stamp.

Mine was a preprinted form, definitely not a download. Didn't say anything about Store Stamp front or back. It was about 3x5 inches.

No stamp on mine either. The directions were pretty clear, mail in the rebate form, receipt or copy of receipt and UPC label. That's it.

I bought one a week ago and the clerk got the form out and stamped it -- also printed an extra copy of the register receipt for me.

check valid dates on rebate forms

You may want to check the fine print on the rebate forms. Just went to my local AutoZone and purchased pump. 3X5 preprinted form below shelf had expired - Valid dates 11/15/07 to 12/12/07. When I questioned the salesperson they went to their computer and printed me a form and placed the store stamp in the box on the computer printed form valid from 12/13/07 to 1/9/08. Request must be postmarked by 1/16/08 and received by 1/23/08.:dunno

Oh great! looks like I just paid 29.99 plus tax for my DEAL if thats the case. Oh well it's not the first time the "mail in rebate" burned me.

I was at my local Radio Shack yesterday, and they have a pump on sale also for $9.99. It's very compact and seems to work well.

Stamp??

Hello all,

Checked my pre-printed form, nothing mentioned about store stamp. Valid from 12/13 through 1/9. Maybe the download form is different, but called the rebate center and they said no stamp was needed.
Perhaps it is only for the downloaded form???? Also, noticed the local dealer also sells these same pumps...... same numbers and everything. Oh yeah, their price is $44.95. Not even a BMW logo, go figure.....

How well do these compact pumps work with a motorcycle battery? Anyone have any experience? I know my old Yamaha battery is only 6V, is the RT battery 12V? I ask because I saw the pump at the store today and it clearly states it's for a 12V DC battery, 5 amp. Just want to be sure it would work for the bike.

Oh, yeah, and the pump the guy pulled off the shelf was originally priced at just $14.99, although he wasn't sure it was the same one that was on the rebate form. I didn't buy it, figured I'd wait to see what y'all say. I'd rather spend a little more for something of quality that works than save $20 and have a piece of shite that doesn't.

Hey Darcym,

I bought the pump and took it home to try. I dropped the pressure on the rear of my 'GS to 20 pounds, hooked up the pump and turned it on. After about 30 seconds, the pressure was up to 37.7 pounds. It's a little noisy, but works very well after this short test. It is a 12volt pump so won't work on the 6 volt battery. Since it draws 5 amps, I would connect it right to the battery. The (pretty useless assy outlet IMOH) outlet won't power it. It is the PowerSport Tire pump made by Slime. At the price, it can't hurt..... I would still carry one or two of the large CO2 canisters so you can reseat the bead if needed, but for the normal tire repair on the road, the pump is the answer. I carry the DynaPlug, the pump, and two canisters and have never had a leak I could not fix...

Probably based on the same mini-pump guts as all the other $14 inflators out there, meaning that if you don't take the rebate you're getting screwed.

+1 On the accessory-socket. My GS's socket wouldn't even TRY to run my mini-pump.

But with all the others do you get a nice case that says Slime:nono on it.

I searched the net and this one sells for an average of around $35

I just went back to the autozone I bought mine and the rebate form says 12/13/07 through 01/09/08
