The BEER thread

If any of you make it to Long Beach CA, I have a roughly 20 mile loop of Long Beach that hits 10 breweries... And that's JUST Long Beach. My favorite in the area is in Orange CA, called Chapman Crafted - they have a Scottish Brown called Still The One that is really nice.

For a destination brew, I like to ride back roads to Wrightwood Brew. We usually avoid Angeles Crest Hwy as it's been closed for a while, and instead take Big Tujunga Canyon, Angeles Forest Hwy, Mt Emma Rd, Fort Tejon Road, Valyermo Rd, and Big Pines Hwy.

You ever get down to that San Marcos to Oceanside arc in San Diego County that seems to have a brewery on every corner? San Diego County even makes a brewing map.

228 breweries in SD county! https://www.sandiegobrewerymap.com/

We've got a pretty solid brewing scene in my town, Santa Rosa, but SD seems to have an endless amount of breweries.

One is MotoSonora, a "petrol-head" themed place, good beer, nice beer garden in back. Try the Victory or Death, or Fog Lights IPAs. Great mural out front by a local artist, Joe Pagic, my Monster posing. Usually some unusual iron inside too, like this custom K bike.
