Switch from Tourance to ME880?

I've been in the saddle of my R100GS since 1991. I originally ditched the oem Saharas and went with street tires (initially ME33/99 combo) because I purchased the bike to tour, not off-road. Over time, I reverted to the newer Tourances.

Question: is anyone running the ME880s on the airhead GS? I recently installed a set on my "new" (2003) Triumph Bonneville, and really like the neutral handling and how these tires stay laid over once the bike is countersteered into the turn. Really easy to correct the line mid turn on the Bonneville.

The Tourances, on the other hand, feel (to me) very squirrelly on the GS, and cause me to constantly correct my line.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Tourances on my Vstrom have faster steering than the OEM Trailwings, or the ME880 Marathon I just put on my K75.
