Am I missing something or is this a 2014 report?

You are. This is definitely from last year, and I believe it was late last year. The Roadsmart III and Roadtec 01 weren't around in 2014.

Hopefully they will have an updated test later this year including the Road Attack 3 which is coming out.

Helpful article. Thanks. I purchased some Roadsmart 3's over the winter and am happy to see that they are a reasonable choice. I was surprised to see the rear tire weighs about 1 kg more than the other tires, though. Road hugging weight? :D

Specially designed for the S to bring your riding back inline with the rest of us mortals.

I'm still amazed at the pace of improvements in the sport touring tires. I'm excited to see that Continental is listing the 160/60R18 as a size for the Road Attack 3 late this year. If they improved their wet grip and wear, it may be a contender against the Angel GT & PR3.

4000km test with a less complete writeup, but The Z8 interact with a reinforced rear worked much better on the heavier bike than when last tested on the Honda 1000:
