spacer for 120/90 tire

I want to use a 120/90/18 tire on my '78 R100. Seems like years ago I had a spacer installed on my R75 for this. Please advise me what to get and how to install.

A 120 is really too big, it will fit, but it may rub the inside of the fender on full compression. If it rubs the drive shaft tube, and you have spoke type wheels, you can move the rim over alittle by adjusting the spokes. A 400, or a 110 is what you should install. A 110 is alittle wider, a 400 is alittle taller. There was a spacer on the K100's for awhile, but I've never seen one on the older twins.

There is a replacement thrust sleeve for the right side of the rear wheel P/N 36312301737to allow the use of wide tires. I think this part is too wide (and ridiculously expensive at $16.33) and face a 36311230322 (a left side thrust sleeve) down to 10.5mm on a lathe.
