Hi all,
Can you have a look at the pictures below and give ma any thoughts on how much wear is left on these Metzeler roadtech SE O1’s? I bought this bike with 13k on it and I’m pretty sure these were the second set of tires the previous owner had on it as they were manufactured in 10/22 (the bike is a 2020). I have no complaints with the way they feel/handle but just trying to budget for a new set and wonder how soon it will be necessary.
I’m thinking they may be OK for another 2500 or so but not sure. I’m not a terribly aggressive rider so maybe more?
I think when I do charge them, I’ll go with the classic Metzeler Tourances, as I always ran them on my 2002 Oilhead GS back in the day and really liked them, even though I really did not do any off road. I just think something with a bit more aggressive tread looks better on a GS.
Anyway, Thanks for any thoughts. I have been off bikes for over a decade and need a reality check on some of these things!
