Smart Helmets

Good evening,

I was wondering if anyone on here is currently using smart helmets or is looking at the current available smart helmets and what your thoughts are on what's currently available? I came across the IC-R Helmet that shows promise combining a 3 camera DVR/blind spot viewing (4K front and 2x 1080p rear view cameras) system, intercom system, smart hud display and a few other safety features.

All that info in a helmet sounds like it could really be distracting. I wonder how much of the time that would be spent scanning to the sides and behind could be used watching the road in front of you. It takes very little time to check the rearview mirrors and apply situational awareness. The term "appropriate technology" should be considered here.
