Yesterday's ride, great weather, great roads. Up highway 11 (Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway) to 276, then on through Dupont state forest, Hendersonville, and up to Lake Lure/Bat Cave area. Around 150 miles, this is one of my favorite "half day" rides, good twisties, avoids downtown Lake Lure (which is often a zoo on weekends) and has some fast sections that are usually pretty empty. Great weather yesterday for a ride, close to 70 degrees at times!
