Are the fees the same whether one preregisters or buys at the gate? If one preregisters, is all the info sent via mail prior to the rally? IOW, what is the advantage of preregistering?

If you pre-register, it is $5 less than registering at the door. All pre-registation information you supply at the time of pre-registration is waiting for you when you arrive at registration in the Civic Center. Depending on the time of day you arrive, pre-registration usually goes much quicker than on-site registration.
