R850R/R1150R Front & Rear shocks/struts Interchangeable

Are the R850R/R1150R Front & Rear shocks/struts Interchangeable? They have different part numbers but are the dimensions similar enough to make them an easy upgrade? Looking to switch out 96 R850R with the newer R1150R units.

While I'm no expert, I do own an R850R. The R850R and the R1100R share most of the same components. I believe the 1150 is a different animal..

The front may interchange

The rear shock on the 1150 has a different bottom mount from the 1100/850R
Not interchangable

The R1150R has a different Telelever arm IIRC
