Here in Chicago mid-forties are predicted Tuesday and Wednesday! And no snow, sleet, or live animals falling from the sky today. We're supposed to be back in the deep freeze with snow etc on Thursday and for the following week or more, but for two days, I'M GOIN' RIDIN'!!!!

Here in Michigan it was 38 and sunny when I got home. It had clouded up by the time I got out on the bike, but it was a great 20 miles. Sure better than sitting around dreaming of riding.

49 degrees in Chgo!

i'net yahoo weather says Tues hi/lo is 46/30, Wed 46/39 and Thu 49/32.
Yesterday's Tribune said even a few degrees higher.

Since I'm breaking in a new top end and ought to stay below 4K a couple hours mid-day up and down some of the locals should be just fine and keep the "windshield" factor to a minimum.

It's been running in the low 40s here in the Westport, CT area so the hubby and I have gone out riding for a few hours over the last several days. It's still cold though! Thank goodness for Gerbing's heated gear (though it makes me feel all bunched up like the Michelin Tire Woman!).

It felt *wonderful* being back on our bikes.
