Yesterday my wife and I returned from Spain after seeking sun and fun along the Mediterranean coast. We spent a few days in Nerja, near Malaga and the weather, food, wine and riding were fantastic! I used a friends bike for a couple days to explore the area and together my wife and I searched out oceanview rentals in order to return in September for a six week stay.

I speak three languages fairly well, unfortunately spanish isn't one of them......so it was a little bit of a challenge. Spain and Nerja are great places to visit, nicely priced, great beaches, super clean country, fantastic roads and friendly people made for a great trip.

Shot a pic. of the view from our balcony above the beach, loved kicking back there and sipping the spanish wine.
The local HOG rider chapter rode into town this past Saturday and parked in the main square complete with a police escort. Shocking how quiet their bikes were I guess they keep the stock exhaust or maybe spanish law won't allow those "other" mufflers. Super friendly group, I was able to chat with a few of them.....with my 123 word vocabulary.

Had a great time cruising the highway, very smooth roads and light traffic though they do have a huge number of speed trap cameras.
Can't wait to return and spend more time exploring on the moto.

Meeting some friendly local bikers.......

Along with meeting some friendly local bikers, did I mention that I enjoyed the Paella and wine? You have to love a place that offers a nice bottle of white for lunch at 0.79 euros.:dance

Thanks for the replies, I was blown away by this part of the world........would be an amazing place for a BMWMOA rally and ride.
Would it be awesome to charter a 747 and load 200 bikes and members and fly to a destination......in a remote place?:scratch
