Phone Connection Issues 2018 R1200 GS

Occasionally, my phone (iPhone 14) doesn't connect to my bike (2018 R1200 GS) when it's turned on. Does anyone have an idea of how to get the phone to connect to the bike after the bike is on? I don't think I should have to shut the bike off and turn it back on just to get the phone to connect. This is one reason I'm not using the Connected Ride app for GPS purposes.

I don't have a GS, but with most bluetooth devices, you can manually force a connection. Go into your bluetooth settings of the phone with the bike on and then tap the entry for the GS. If the bike's bluetooth is on, then it should connect without shutting off the bike.
