New K1600B owner

Hello!

After a 3 year "brake" from riding, I picked up a 2019 K1600B in early spring. So far, I'm loving the bike. I've been on 2 wheels since my teens, starting in the dirt, to sport bikes, and spending most of my riding on sport-touring.

The bike that fit me the best was a 2003 Honda ST1300, which is how the bagger seems to ride for me now. I've been taking my time getting my "bike legs" back, while also trying to figure out what gear is going to work for me. I've always wanted to experience BMW motorcycles, and I'm starting to see what the attraction is.

I'm in Northern Virginia and looking forward to more miles on my BMW.

Good luck riding your superior Bagger in the perhaps very busy DMV! We’re happy to have finally relocated to Rocket City in 2018 {after placing a winning bid on an online real estate auction}.
I bought my gently used K-GT from Mortons along with the TimeOut Camper after Xmas in 2018. In the years since then, we’ve ridden over 100K miles as a team and put 40K on the camper. Hope you’ll have as many Miles & Smiles as we’ve gotten.
