Hi All,
I'm a long time rider from central IL, decided it was finally time to join the MOA. In December I traded a '16 R1200RS on a '19 R1250GS, loving it the little bit I've been able to ride it this winter. It's my 4th BMW, but I went 20 years between BMWs before getting the RS, my first was a new '85 K100RS. I've usually had a couple bikes in the garage, mostly Ducatis, but am down to just the GS for now. I look forward to taking part in the forum.

Steve

Congrats

Welcome to the club. I, too, picked up a r1250rt. Coming from a 1600 exclusive, the RT seems tiny. But the RT ride is better suited to my aging body and has nearly the same oomph. The MOA will serve you well.

Welcome

Chili cook off at gateway bmw Saturday March 2nd always fun even if it’s to cold to ride.

Welcome to the forum, Steve and congrats on the new GS.

I'm a fellow Land of Lincoln alum...I grew up near you in the small farm town of Gibson City, IL.

Thanks, I'm very familiar with Gibson City. My son went to school his last few years at Farmer City, same athletic conference, so I was there a lot. Nice little town.
