Hi all. New on the block. Just got back to my true love and purchased a 1964 BMW R50/2. I am a retired Electronics Engineer and Technical Author.
Last piece of writing was the maintenance manual for the Fuel System in the Airbus A380 aircraft.
Just the last in a long career and many bikes along the way. Living in south west France and still riding at 83 years. Short solo trips through the country lanes and into the Pyrenees mountains. Member of two local groups.IMG_2138.jpeg

Great riding on a very nice motorcycle. Send updates. It would be nice to see that /2 "in action".

Bonjour Monsieur Mike!

Looks to be a very special ride! Hope it serves U well in the remaining days of your Riding career!!! Just curious as to why you're popping up on the North 'Merican BMW Club forum.. Planning a ride this summer in the US? Stop by north Alabama if it's on your retirement radar. We're not too far from the best Vintage Motorsports Museum on this planet...

We've toured various countries over yonder - most recently DK, SE, DE. Certainly appreciate your current locale... :nod

Happy Trails whenever U can on your splendid BMW!
