While I the My 2020 1250 RS not so much the OEM bags and I am looking closely at the HP lock it mounting system and Xcode panniers . Anybody have experience with this system?

While I am unfamiliar with the set up you are talking about, I have several products from H&B and have been pleased with all of them.
I use the C-bow mounts with removable bags. They are very sturdy and work well.
They are in their fifth year and still look brand new.
