K16 Auxiliary Spot light outage

Looking for insight on a newly “burned out” right side “fog lamp” on my 2014 GT. Guess the rainy ride to Fontana was just too much to deal with.

On the Maintenance DVD, it seems this might be a Remove & Replace the entire LED-unit?
With a lot of luck, maybe I could find a used one somewhere... Anyone have more experience on fixing this problem?

On YouTube, all I could see was one guy cutting the cable and replacing them with newer, external Denali lights? Yes, the bike is ~11 years old, so I guess I got my money’s worth with the OEM units...
Are there other K16 owners who’ve already experienced this situation?
Thanks in advance, HSV-Phil

As far as I know, the BMW auxiliary/fog lights are not serviceable. They have had 3, maybe 4 different versions of the auxiliary lights, so you have to pay close attention to get a like unit. The pictures of the lights in my official BMW service disc doesn't even match what they installed on the factory floor.

if your is similar to mine, remove the light, then the large Tupperware side panel, at which point you will find the connector. Some of the auxiliary lights have a connector at the light too, for which I would not attempt to undo until you have the light off the bike.

+1 on RubyMoto, a family owned business started by a young enthusiast. They offer quality lights and great service at a reasonable price.

Best,
DeVern

It took two tries, but I finally got the Ruby Moto Lights (4 ea LED lites) installed, I had to request the correct interface cable for my model of K16 versus the cable originally shipped. Now I’m feeling up to another 100,000 miles of pulling the camper to rallies around North ‘Merica...
Thanks for the recommendation, Zeek! See y’all in Lebanon {pronounced Lebnon by the locals}.
Ciao, HSV-Phil & HSV-Karen
