Just Ridin' Pictures

First ride of the season. None of my Beemers are on the road yet.

My friend and riding partner Scott (25 R1300GSA) and I did the first of our semi-annual Bighorns Loop last Friday, 612 miles, 10 hours, 3 gas stops, 2 pee stops (incorporated into the gas stops). 1 pkg of roasted almonds, 1 pkg of Jerky, 2 cups of coffee, also at the gas stops. We left Common Grounds, Spearfish, at 0740, and I was in my garage at 1805. Scott has an additional 50 miles to and from Rapid City to Spearfish, so he had a 700-plus-mile day.

We ride this clockwise in the Spring and counterclockwise in the fall.

It was a beautiful day! This is the earliest we've done this loop in the spring, not a lot of snow up high.
