Good day to all BMW Motorrad enthusiasts!

I’m learning about everything BMW Motorrad.

Been riding off and on for nearly 40 years but just recently bought m first BMW. Found a 100 year anniversary edition of the r18 and had to have it! Looking forward to the journey. If there are any Midwest members that want to meet up at the Gilmore Car museum some time hit me up. They have a nice motorcycle museum with a small room of old BMW bikes as well! Regards to all. I began riding BMW’s in the early ‘70’s in SE MI, and moved west in the mid to late ‘70’s. I rode with several folks from the Detroit Club and was a founding member of the Huron Valley BMW Riders in ‘76, at the Oshkosh National Rally. Still in the saddle after all of these years! I wish you well with your R1800. If you ever make it west, we’re in the book, still a landline! Ride easy.

Here are a few pictures. I have put on a DK designs fairing (all instructions in Tawainese). Wunderlich highway bars and Viking saddle bags ( limited incorrect hardware).
